Babbling

Michael has been doing a lot more babbling. He makes the Ma, Ba, Pa, La and now KA sounds. He can do Lo and Wo. He is also starting to string them together, alternating between different sounds. It's super cute and I'd love to take a video but wheneven he starts and I get the camera he just cheeeeeses for the picture. I might have to take a blank video just so the sounds can be recorded! :)

Epilepsy Walk 2012

We are so excited! We signed up for the Epilepsy Walk in Washington DC and booked our hotel there. :) We'll be staying Friday-Saturday in DC. The rest of the week we plan to be in Virginia Beach. Matt wants to see the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, Liz wants to go to the beach and aquarium and swim in an indoor pool. Michael LOVES the beach and playgrounds. Aside from the actual Walk, we don't want to over plan, like we usually do. We hope to allow time to sleep in, be lazy and plan as we go. :)

I could take pictures of that cheesy grin every day!

Leapfrog Magnets

Michael discovered magnets shortly before this last Christmas. My mother got him this awesome set of magnets. He recently figured out how to turn the magnets to get them to fit and is starting to match them. He struggles with it and does give up quickly if it doesn't match but he is figuring it out!

Clapping!

Michael hasn't learned hand skills such as waving Hi/Bye, pointing or clapping... Until recently! It's still new and doesn't happen often but he is starting to clap! Most of the time I have to sit him on my lap with music going. Then I clap my hands, then his, then he will clap a little bit. Yesterday, while waiting for our tornado weather to occur, we went to the park. He was playing and running around and all of the sudden started clapping. Of course, Matt and I were too busy clapping with him and cheering and forgot to video tape it. I had to dig through my pocket to get my phone out, finally get the camcorder feature working and then catch the tail end of  the clapping.

We are so excited!
