The best big sister

It is difficult being the big sister of someone with special needs but Elizabeth does it beautifully. She has so much love and patience for her brother.

From the moment he was born she loved holding him and being part of his routine. None of that changed when the seizures started. If anything, she became even more supportive and helpful.

She understands that Michael can do most anything that a normal 3 year old can do, but with a lot of assistance. She is always willing to offer the help he needs.

A lot of the time she expresses her worries and concerns in writing. This Christmas she brought tears to our eyes when we read what her Christmas Wish was.
